Petitioner is in custody for 308 days. He renews his prayer for bail.

Report is placed on record.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail. He submits petitioner is the brother-in-law of the minor victim. He ravished her and blackmailed her by showing objectionable pictures.

We have considered the materials on record. Statement of the victim and other materials collected during investigation implicate the petitioner. Bail prayer of the petitioner was rejected earlier. Delay in the matter is due to non-appearance of the co-accused and cannot lie at the doorstep of the petitioner

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
