Petitioner is unable to arrange local surety. Hence, he is incarcerating in custody.

Under such circumstances, we modify the condition of bail and direct that the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.20,000/- with two registered sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Baruipur, South 24-Paraganas on condition that he shall not intimidate the witnesses or tamper with evidence in any manner whatsoever and he shall appear before the trial court on every date of hearing and on further conditions that while on bail petitioner shall not enter into the jurisdiction of Baruipur Police Station except for the purposes of attending court proceedings and shall provide the address where he shall present reside to the said officer-in-charge as well as

court below. He shall not also access the victim through electronic or any other means whatsoever.

In the event he fails to appear before the trial court without justifiable cause, the trial court shall be at liberty to cancel his bail without further reference to this Court. CRAN 1 of 2022 is disposed of.
