Learned lawyer for the State opposes the bail prayer. He submits trial is at its fag end. Date has been fixed for examination of the petitioner under section 313 Cr.P.C Learned lawyer for the de facto complainant also opposes the bail prayer.
We have considered the materials on record. Though petitioner is in custody for more than six years, trial is at its fag end.
Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
