The State of West Bengal and others (Via Video Conference) Mr. Sambhunath Sardar Mr. Balai Kumar Sanfui .... for the petitioner Mr. Jahar Dutta, Mr. Bipin Ghosh .... for the State Ms. Mitali Bhattacharya .... for the WBSEDCL Mr. Gopal Chandra Ghosh .... for the added private respondents It appears, as rightly pointed out by learned counsel appearing for the added private respondents and the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (for short "the WBSEDCL"), that an inadvertent error crept up in the order passed by me on February 7, 2022. Although it was recorded in the said order that the son of the writ petitioner is enjoying an electric connection at the same premises, the ultimate direction given in the order was for the

Distribution Licensee to restore the electric connection of the petitioner over the original route of 2008. However, the WBSEDCL, taking care of the technical issues, has given such reconnection not over the 2008 route but over the same route through which the son of the petitioner is enjoying a different electric connection. Since such restoration of connection has already been given to the petitioner, let it be deemed that the direction dated February 7, 2022 of this court to the effect that the connection was to be given through the original 2008 route, shall be read as connection be given to the petitioner through the route over which the petitioner's son is already enjoying another electric connection.

Since such connection has already been given by the Distribution Licensee to the petitioner, there does not exist any further grievance of any of the parties.

As such, WPA No.20036 of 2021 is disposed of without passing any further orders. However, it is clarified that the restored electric connection to the petitioner, as given by the WBSEDCL lastly, shall remain subsisting, subject to the petitioner complying with all regular formalities, including payment of current electricity charges.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
