Petitioner is in custody for 62 days. He submits he has been falsely implicated in the instant case.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail. He submits petitioner misbehaved with the victim. Out of shame, she tried to commit suicide.

We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses including the victim implicate the petitioner in the crime. Keeping in mind the aforesaid facts, gravity of the offence and the unfortunate impact on the victim, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
