A communication and/or status report dated 16th October, 2023 signed by D. Mazumder, Chief Accounts Officer In-charge, West Bengal Transport Cooperation Limited has been placed before this Court and the same is taken on record. By the said order and/or status report it has been stated at paragraph 2, which reads as follows:- "Date of joining of the petitioners have been reckoned as 15.02.1991 for the purpose of Notional Seniority and retiral benefit computation, which was given to Shri Pradip Chakraborty, Emp.
No.7632 accordingly."

The petitioner has, therefore, been granted notional seniority and consequential retirement benefit computation from 15th February, 1991.

In that view of the matter, nothing further remains to be adjudicated in the writ petition.

The arrears payable to the writ petitioner may be released to him within a period of two months from date. 5.
Revised PPO may also be issued to the writ petitioner by the concerned respondents within a period of 15 days from date.

It is expected that the revised pension shall, however, commence immediately upon issuance of the same.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
8.
There shall be no order as to costs.
9.
All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
