1. Mr. Bidyut Kiran Mukherjee, learned Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of the appellants has submitted that in spite of best efforts the legal heirs of the three persons mentioned in paragraph 5 of the order dated 8th May, 2025 could not be ascertained.

2. The report filed by the Assistant Registrar II that no requisite i.e, talbana or postal costs for service of notice of appeal upon the remaining substituted legal heirs has been produced may not appear to be correct in view of receipt 365(A) dated 11.07.2025 where postal costs for service was deposited for effecting service of this appeal upon the respondents including the substituted

respondents by speed post with acknowledgment.

3. The matter stands adjourned for three weeks in order to enable the appellants to ascertain the particulars required for substitution of the three persons mentioned in paragraph 5 of the order dated 8th May, 2025.

4. The department to take immediate steps for effecting service of notice of appeal within one week from date and file a revised report on the adjourned date.
