Upon hearing the parties, this Court records that the respondent No.5 shall not object to the grant of electricity to the premises in occupation by the petitioner within the area sold to the petitioner. All parties agree that the petitioner had purchased a demarcated area and the said premises bears a separate assessee number.

Such connection shall be granted within a month from the date of communication of this order, upon the petitioner complying with the necessary formalities.

The respondent No.5 and her men and agents shall not resist the entry of the CESC authorities to the premises in occupation of the petitioner, as it is an admitted position that the property was sold to the petitioner. The CESC Limited will enter the premises through the entrance which is exclusively within the enjoyment of the petitioner and install a separate line. Police protection shall be granted, in case of resistance, at the cost of the petitioner.

The writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
