The grievance of the petitioner is directed against non-supply of an electricity connection. Pursuant to orders of Court, a Report has been filed by CESC Ltd. indicating that they are ready and willing to provide a block meter at the subject premises.

In view of the stand taken by the CESC Ltd., WPA 18776 of 2025 stands disposed of by directing the CESC Ltd. to act in terms of the Report read with their Affidavit subject to compliance with all necessary formalities and after payment of the requisite fees.

It is needless to mention that all other requisites, permissions and compliances as enumerated by the CESC Ltd., would be mandatorily followed in providing such meter.

The entire exercise should be completed within four weeks from the date of communication of this order.
