The petitioners have complained to the Burdwan Sadar Police Station of intimidation and threat by the private respondents.

Petitioners have been restored possession of the houses pursuant to the order passed by a coordinate Bench in WPA No. 2347 of 2022 on 9th June, 2022.

Upon return to their houses, they found that most of the articles were stolen and/or are missing. They have complained to the police and are now receiving threats from the private respondents. 5.

The private respondents are represented and deny all allegations made by the petitioners.

FIR No.670 of 2022 dated 22nd June, 2022 has been registered by the Burdwan Police Station. 7.

The petitioners have further complained of threats from the private respondents. The Superintendent

of Police, Purba Bardhaman shall assess the threat perception expressed by the petitioners and take appropriate measures in accordance with law. A copy of the complaint of the petitioners received by the Superintendent of Police, Purba Bardhaman dated 1st September, 2022 is kept with the record. 8.

Petitioners shall communicate this order to the Superintendent of Police, Purba Bardhaman and also Burdwan Sadar Police Station. Investigation into pending FIR shall be completed within a period of one month from date, if not already completed.

WPA 19300 of 2022 shall stand disposed of.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
