Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. The said report submitted by the Officer-inCharge, Patuli Police Station reflects that the petitioner neither approached Patuli Police Station for any sort of police assistance nor did he lodged any complaint at Patuli Police Station against anyone relating to entry at his residence at B/9, Rabindrapally, P.S. Patuli, Kolkata-700086.

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that certain issues have been created. The petitioner, if required, would first approach the police authorities of Patuli Police Station who would provide a police officer of their choice. The said police officer would accompany and identify the place in the house where the petitioner would stay as per the earlier directions passed by this Court. In case there is any problem, the petitioner would inform the police station as earlier directed. The police authorities would immediately take steps

so that the petitioner may not be subjected to any physical or mental torture at the said residential premises.

In view of the report submitted today by the police authorities, further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted.

Accordingly, the writ petition being WPA 19663 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
