Copy of the communication dated 10th October, 2023 addressed to the petitioners by the Chairman of the Municipality containing the directions passed in compliance of the order passed by the Court is placed before this Court.

A copy of the aforesaid communication has been handed over to the learned advocate for the petitioners in Court today.

It will be open for the petitioners to take consequential steps in response to the communication dated 10th October, 2023.

As it appears that the order of the Court has been substantially complied with, there is no requirement of proceeding with the contempt application any further. It will be open for the petitioners to approach the Court in the event the Municipality does not act in furtherance to the steps taken by the petitioners.

The contempt application stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
