The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher of the subject Physics (Hons/PG) at Kolsur Balika Vidyalaya (HS), District-24-Pargans (North), she applied for general transfer through 'Utsashree Portal' on the ground that the distance between her residence and the school since is more than 55 kilometres, she is unable to look after her minor child, her such application was rejected from the end of the District Inspector of Schools (S.E), District 24-Parganas (North), the respondent no.5 herein, on the ground that the petitioner is the single teacher of the subject in the school.

Mr. Ray, learned advocate for the petitioner strenuously argues that the ground of rejection is not sustainable. Be that as it may, the 'Utsashree Portal' is now under suspension, as such the prayer of the petitioner for such general transfer cannot be considered at this stage.

W.P.A. 19308 of 2022 is therefore dismissed without any order as to costs.
