Petitioner renews his prayer for bail. He submits allegation of rape is not supported by medical evidence. Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Bail prayer of the petitioner was rejected on merits in May, 2022. There is no change in circumstance since then. We have also considered the medical report which does not militate against the allegation of rape.

Under such circumstances and in view of the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
