Petitioners renew their prayer for bail. It is submitted there is slow progress in the matter before the trial court. Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail. He submits date has been fixed for consideration of charge on 27th September, 2022.

We have considered the materials on record. Statements of eye witnesses implicate the petitioners for murder. Date has been fixed for consideration of framing of charge. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners at this stage.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioners is rejected.

Trial court is requested to consider the issue of framing of charge at the earliest and in the event charge is framed to take the matter to its logical conclusion without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. (Ajay Kumar Gupta,J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
