The opposite party nos.1 and 2 had filed the complaint before the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, West Bengal being Complaint Case No.885 of 2019.

The Commission by the judgment and order dated September 29, 2022 disposed of the said complaint directing the petitioners and their the then firm which since has been dissolved to refund a sum of Rs.8,50,000/- with interest @ 9% per annum to the complainants. The petitioners preferred a first appeal being First Appeal No. 1161 of 2023 before the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, New Delhi. The said appeal was filed out of time, as such, an application for condonation of delay of 403 days was taken out. The National Commission by the judgment and order dated December 18, 2023 had dismissed the said application for condonation of delay. The petitioners thereafter sought review of the said order which has been dismissed by the National Commission vide order dated March 22, 2024 which is under challenge in the instant application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India. The National Commission has dismissed the said application for review holding that the review petition is

bereft of merits as the grounds raised by the review applicant for review of the order were duly considered while passing the order dated December 18, 2023. This Court does not find any reason to interfere with the order impugned.

CO 2784 of 2024 is dismissed without any order as to costs.
