1. The petitioner renews his prayer for bail which was rejected on June 12, 2024. Since there is no change of circumstance, we are not inclined to entertain the prayer for bail.

2. CRM (NDPS) 1244 of 2024 is dismissed.

3. We find that the petitioner is in custody for six months. We are told that 4 out of 10 witnesses have already been examined. Keeping in mind the importance of the personal liberty and right to speedy trial that every citizen has, we direct the learned Trial Court to expedite the trial to the fullest extent and conclude the same at an early date but definitely within six months from the next date fixed for recording of evidence.

4. Let this order be communicated by the parties to the learned trial Court.

5. Learned Registrar General shall also communicate this order to the learned Trial Court immediately.
