Both the contempt applications have been filed alleging violation of an order dated 1st April, 2002 passed in WP 1216 (W) of 2002. It appears that two Rules were issued on 25th July, 2003 and 2nd December, 2003.

Both the matters appeared in the list on 26th August, 2021 and were called twice but no one appeared on behalf of the parties. Today the matters have been placed in the list marked as "Last Chance" with a note that appropriate orders will be passed if no one appears when the matters are taken up. Even today, no one appears on behalf of any of the parties. No one has also applied for joining in the virtual mode. In the facts and circumstances as aforesaid, it appears that none of the parties are interested in

proceeding further with the contempt petitions. Both the contempt petitions are disposed of without any further order.

Both the Rules stand discharged accordingly.
