Learned Counsel for the petitioner and Howrah Municipal Corporation are present.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner (PIL) is rendered infructuous because the Bill which was called in question, became an Act now in view of assent by the appropriate Authority.

The other side has no objection to such submission.

Accordingly, the PIL is disposed of by reserving liberty to the petitioner to avail appropriate remedy in accordance with law to assail the Act.
