Learned counsel for the alleged contemnor submits, upon instructions, that the order of the Court wherefrom the contempt has arisen has since been complied with.

The Gram Panchayat considered the representation of the petitioner and detected unauthorized construction. The Panchayat has forwarded all concerned papers to the Sub-Divisional Officer, Howrah Sadar by a communicating letter dated April 8, 2025 which was received by the office of the SDO on April 9, 2025.

As it appears that the Pradhan has already taken steps in accordance with the direction passed by the Court, accordingly, there is no requirement to proceed with the contempt application any further. The same stands disposed of.

It will be open for the petitioner to follow up the matter with the SDO.
