The subject-matter of this writ petition relates to a land dispute. It is reflected from the documents enclosed particularly to the report of the BL&LRO, Malda that the plots which have been referred to have been vested to the State and currently recorded under Khatian No.

The petitioner's complaint is against the private respondents but the

writ petition has only been preferred against the State-respondents which includes the police officers, administrative officers including the officers associated with the land department.

Having considered that the accusations presently before this court is not against any individual, the police authorities would only restrict themselves to the extent that there should not be any violation of law and order with respect to the land in question.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 19030 of 2025 is disposed of.
