Since the innocuous prayer of the petitioner is for expeditious disposal of the S.T. Case No.07(04) of 2022 pending before the learned Additional District & Sessions Judge, 2nd Fast Track Court, Diamond Harbour, South 24 Parganas the matter may be disposed of without service of notice upon the opposite parties.

The opposite parties shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the matter. It appears that charge was framed on 20th April, 2022 and out of 34 charge sheeted witnesses only four witnesses have been examined till date.

In view of the above, the learned Trial Court is directed to dispose of the matter as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law. The revisional application being CRR 3279 of 2024 is disposed of.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
