Moumita Item no.32 Court No. 237 Mr. Ivan Roy Mr. Debangshu Bandhu ....For the Petitioner The instant revisional application has been filed seeking direction upon the learned Additional Judicial Magistrate, 10th Court at Alipore for an earlier disposal of ACM Case No. 786 of 2024.

The petitioner files an application under Section 144 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, seeking maintenance from husband. The opposite party in the said miscellaneous application appeared in the case and has been taking adjournment for filing written objection as well as declaration of assets. The petitioner prayed for grant of maintenance which has not yet been taken for further consideration, even at the interim stage.

From the copy of the order-sheet in ACM Case No. 786 of 2024, it transpires that the proceeding is fixed on November 13, 2025 for filing written objection on behalf of the opposite party therein. Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been leading her life in destitute. She has no source

of income.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, it would be appropriate to dispose of the instant revisional application with a request to the learned 10th Judicial Magistrate at Alipore, South 24 Parganas to try and dispose of ACM Case No. 786 of 2024 as early as possible without affording any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant revisional application being CRR No. 3585 of 2025 stands disposed of. (MD. SHABBAR RASHIDI, J.)
