Heard the learned Counsels appearing on behalf of the parties.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that there is a love affair between the parties and he has been falsely implicated in the instant case.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record including the statement of the victim girl. Victim in her statement discloses that she was blackmailed by the petitioner who had raped her. Her objectionable pictures were uploaded on a social media site.

In view of the aforesaid facts including the gravity of the offence and the prima facie involvement of the petitioner therein, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
