The learned advocate for the petitioners submits that the petitioners applied in the selection process namely 1st State Level Selection Test 2016 (Classes IX & X). Petitioners pray for consideration of their candidature in the said selection process.

The learned advocate representing the parties have jointly submitted during course of hearing that the entire selection process for appointment in the post of assistant teacher in connection with 1st SLST 2016 (Classes IX, X, XI and XII) has been set aside by the Hon'ble Division Bench and the issue is pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

In view of pendency of the issue before the Hon'ble Supreme Court no order need be passed on this writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. However, this order shall not preclude the petitioner to take steps in accordance with law in future if situation so arises.
