Considering the materials available in the case diary, the nature and extent of complicity of the petitioner in the commission of the alleged offence and having regard to the postmortem report which would show that the death was caused due to head injury which also corroborates the statements of the eyewitnesses implicating the petitioner amongst other in the commission of alleged offence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the present petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. (Soumen Sen, J.)
