Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. Petitioner is aggrieved by the slow movement of the case being Watgunge P.S. Case No. 91 dated 27.03.2025.

State has produced the case diary along with a report before this Court which reflects that certain steps were taken.

I have taken into account the steps taken by the investigating officer. However, I do not find that in support of the theft of the jewellery, any document has been placed by the complainant and/or the investigating officer has called for any document from the de facto complainant.

In view of the aforesaid, petitioner would produce all the documents which are available in her custody to the investigating officer of the case. The investigating officer would thereafter take steps. In case within a period of fifteen days, such

documents are not submitted before the investigating officer, the investigating officer will serve notice under Section 94 of BNSS calling for the supporting documents and take steps in accordance with law. All steps must be taken by the investigating officer so that investigation of the case may be taken to its logical conclusion after putting sincere efforts so far as the accusation relating to recovery of jewellery is concerned.

Case diary be returned to the learned advocate appearing for the State.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 19075 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
