Mr. Sandip Ghosh Mr. Partha Sarkar ... . For the Petitioners. Mr. Santanu Kumar Mitra Mr. A. Pal ... For the State. The grievance of the petitioners is directed against the non-consideration of a request for cancellation and withdrawal of a trade license issued in favour of the private respondent.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that the private respondents have been wrongfully and illegally carrying on the commercial activities at the subject premises which is prohibited.

Admittedly the representation filed as far back as on 24th July 2023 has not yet been disposed of by the respondent nos. 4 and 5 till date.

In view of the above the private respondents remain unrepresented.

In view of the grievance of the petitioners S.D.

WPA 19004 of 2023 stands disposed of by directing the respondent no. 4 to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioners dated 24th July,

2023 within a period of 12 weeks from the date of communication of this order. It is made clear that there is no adjudication on the merits of the case and the respondent no. 4 is to act strictly in accordance with law without being influenced by any observation and after hearing all the stakeholders.
