Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

None represents the Bank.

The petitioner's prayer seeking refund of excess amount allegedly recovered from him at the time of repayment of the loan is pending consideration at the end of the authority.

In the absence of any representation from the Bank, the Court is not in a position to decide the issue conclusively.

In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Senior Manager, UCO Bank, DIT, BPR & BTD, Head Office II, Salt Lake, Kolkata-700064 being the respondent no.6 herein to take into consideration the petitioner's representation in accordance with law and dispose of the same at the earliest but positively within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

If the claim of the petitioner is found to be proper, then necessary remedial steps shall be taken by the authority without any delay.

Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the representation along with all supporting documents to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating the order of the Court.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
