The present revision has been preferred praying for transfer of North Port Police Station Case No.62 of 2018, dated 19.07.2018 under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 18th Court at Calcutta. 2.

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner since the date of listing. The revision was last heard on 26.09.2019. 3.

The allegations against the petitioner is of theft. The petitioner has prayed for transfer of the present case on the ground that both the accused person/petitioner as well as the defacto complainant are residing within the jurisdiction of District - Dakshin Dinajpur. 4.

The present case relates to North Port police station and there is no prayer on behalf of the complainant for transfer of the same. 5.

Accordingly, the revisional application is disposed of with the direction that the learned trial court shall proceed with the trial expeditiously, if not already disposed of.

All applications connected thereto stand disposed of. 7.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

Let a copy of the order be sent to the learned trial court for compliance.

Urgent Xerox certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties as expeditiously as possible, in compliance of usual formalities.
