The petitioner seeks disbursal of the amount as mentioned in the Pension Payment Order. A sum of Rs. 3,97,300/- was due and payable.

It has been submitted that after filing of the writ petition an ad hoc amount of Rs. 2,00,000/- was paid. The balance amount of Rs. 1,97,300/- is still due and payable.

None represents the Municipality.

As PPO has been issued, accordingly, the amount indicated in the PPO ought to be disbursed.

The respondent authorities are directed to disburse the balance payment of Rs. 1,97,300/- to the petitioner at the earliest but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.

In the event, the balance payment as mentioned hereinabove is not disbursed within the time as specified herein above, then the same shall be disbursed in favour of the petitioner with interest @ 6% per annum on the

amount due to be calculated on and from the due date till the date of actual payment.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today is taken on record.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
