1. Heard learned Advocates for the parties.

2. Petitioner is in custody for 100 days. Victim is the husband of the petitioner. There was matrimonial discord between the couple.

3. We have considered the materials on record. Whether conduct of the petitioner would constitute abetment to suicide requires to be assessed during trial. Investigation is complete and there is no chance of abscondence. Under such circumstances, we are inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.

4. Accordingly, the petitioner, namely, Ruma Saha shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Signed By :

Magistrate, North 24 Parganas at Barasat, subject to condition that she shall appear before the trial court on every date of hearing until further orders and shall not intimidate witnesses or tamper with evidence in any manner whatsoever or commit similar offences in future. 5.

In the event petitioner fails to appear before the trial court without any justifiable cause, the trial court shall be at liberty to cancel her bail in accordance with law without further reference to this Court.
