The petitioners complain of illegal and unauthorized construction.

It has been submitted before this Court that after service of a copy of the writ petition a hearing was conducted by the engineer, Officer in-Charge, BoroughVI of the Howrah Municipal Corporation on October 20, 2022. The fate of the hearing has not been made known to them, till date.

As it appears that a hearing has already been conducted, accordingly, the concerned officer ought to intimate the fate of the hearing to the parties. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by directing the concerned officer of the Howrah Municipal Corporation who conducted the hearing being the respondent no. 6, the Assistant Engineer, Borough-VI to

pass a reasoned order and communicate the fate of the hearing to the parties positively within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

A notice of hearing dated October 15, 2022 issued by the Assistant Engineer, Borough-VI be retained with the records.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
