Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that she furnished information to the police authorities relating to trespass at the behest of the private respondents along with criminal intimidation and threat to life and property of the petitioner and in spite of having complete knowledge regarding the issues, the police authorities did not take any steps, petitioner, as such was compelled to approach this Court.

Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report. Report reflects that over the same piece of land number of persons name has been recorded, as such, police authorities have hardly any role to involve themselves. However, the police authorities

have from time to time drawn up proceedings under Section 107 of the Cr.P.C.

In view of the dispute having its genesis so far as the title of the land is concerned which is reflected from the police report, I am of the opinion that the police authorities would only involve themselves if there are breach of peace and ensure that the situation is not blown out of proportion. So far as the ownership of the land is concerned, since the same is disputed, petitioner would approach before the appropriate forum to establish her right over the property.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 19156 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
