It appears from the affidavit of compliance that the Pradhan of the Gram Panchayat considered the representation filed on behalf of the petitioner and concluded that there is indeed unauthorized construction.

The Pradhan has issued a self-demolition notice and forwarded the records to the Sub-Divisional Officer, Alipur for taking necessary consequential steps. As the Pradhan has already forwarded the file to the Sub-Divisional Officer, accordingly, the petitioner is granted leave to follow up the matter with the SubDivisional Officer. There is no requirement of proceeding with the contempt application any further.

The petitioner will be at liberty to challenge the findings of the Pradhan in accordance with law, if so advised.

The contempt application stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
