Petitioners are aggrieved by the fact that the petitioners cultivated jute in a plot of land wherein the private respondents forcefully took away the crops. Petitioners were obstructed further from carrying out the cultivation work and there were threats to the petitioners while reaping the crops. Be that as it may, State has submitted a report. Report reflects that the police authorities sent requisition to the BL & LRO, Karimpur-1 Block, Nadia. The report of BL & LRO, Karimpur-1 Block, Nadia which was furnished referred to plot no.L.R.1434 in the name of respondents while plot

no.L.R.1435 is in the name of Government of West Bengal.

In view of the contentions of the petitioners that the petitioners have been allotted patta, I am of the view that the petitioners would establish their right so far such contentions are concerned. Police authorities in order to prevent breach of the peace has already drawn up proceeding under Section 126 of the BNSS. A vigil be kept by the police authorities to ensure that there is no violation of law and order. With the aforesaid observations, WPA 19143 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioners. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
