Report submitted on behalf of the state be kept with the record. Report reflects that the concerned investigating officer is taking steps for apprehending the accused persons in connection with Jibantala Police Station Case no. 284/24 dated 04.06.2024 under section 498A/304B/406/302/34 IPC and section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Paragraph 3 of the report is unwarranted since the earlier order by this court was passed on 25.09.2024.

Report also reflects that the investigating officer is taking efforts.

Learned magistrate is directed that in case the investigating officer is inerred, the execution of

warrant of arrest be made through the Officer-inCharge, Missing Persons Bureau, CID West Bengal. On receipt of such report the learned magistrate would immediately proceed for execution of harsher process of law and in case any of the accused is not traceable, the learned magistrate would declare him at the appropriate stage preferably within 4 months from the date of communication of the order and after compliance with the relevant provisions of law as a proclaimed offender and proceed with the steps for commitment of the case.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 19733 of 2024 is disposed of.
