Roychowdhury ....for the Union Mr. Debashis Saha, Ms. Dipika Basu, Ms. Rajashree Bhattacharya ...for the respondent no.2 Mr. Debasish Ghosh ...for the State The writ petitioner seeks directions upon the State Bank of India and the Income Tax Department being respondent nos. 2 and 4 to give information about the accounts maintained by his deceased father with them.

There are other prayers made in the writ petition that to say the least, cannot even be referred to hereinabove.

The writ petitioner has claimed that he is the legal heir of late Asim Kumar Das. No documents have been produced before this Court of any such adjudication that the writ petitioner is the legal heir of deceased Asim Kumar Das.

In that view of the matter, the writ petition shall stand dismissed.

This Court is of the view that the instant writ petition is otherwise also abuse of process of law. Since the petitioner appearing in person, this Court has chosen not to impose cost.

In view of the dismissal of the main writ petition, the connected application being CAN 1 of 2022, shall also stand disposed of.
