1. This intra court appeal by the writ petitioner is directed against the order dated 25th June, 2024 in WPA 4138 of 2024. The operative portion of the order reads as follows:

"The writ petition is disposed of directing the Assistant Engineer/Station Manager, WBSEDCL, Patashpur Customer Care Centre, to call the petitioner and the respondent nos.8 to 10 for a hearing and dispose of the matter, in accordance with law. A reasoned order shall be passed and intimated to all. The objection of the petitioner shall be decided in accordance with the rules and the decision of the District Level Ground Water Resources Development Authority within two months. The respondent nos.8 to 10 have already applied for electricity. If it is found by the authority that the pumps arte in the safe zone and do not need to maintain a distance of 200 metres, the connection should be granted within two weeks from disposal of the matter."

2. In terms of the directions issued by the learned Single Bench, the respondent/Electricity Distribution Company has passed an order on 24.07.2024.

3. Thus, the order and direction issued by the learned Single Bench has worked itself out and no useful purpose would be served in keeping this appeal pending and, therefore, the same stands disposed of for the aforesaid reasons and it will be open to the appellant/writ petitioner to question the order dated 24.07.2024 in the manner known to law, if so advised.

4. Copy of the order dated 24.07.2024 is kept on record and copy has been furnished to the learned advocate for the appellant as well.
