Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. The said report reflects that pursuant to the information being furnished, Ausgram Police Station Case No. 208 of 2024 dated 24.06.2024 was registered and charge-sheet has been submitted before the jurisdictional court against the accused persons which include two private respondents. I find from the charge-sheet that there is an allegation under Section 325 of the Indian Penal Code amongst others which reflects that injuries were inflicted upon the petitioner or her husband. Be that as it may, the petitioner and her husband are senior citizens and parents of the respondent no.10.

The appropriate forum for approaching relief for not being harassed relating to the residence would be under the provisions of Maintenance and

Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. Such application be preferred by the petitioner or her husband within a period of fifteen days. In the meantime for a period of fifteen days from date, the Inspector-in-Charge, Ausgram Police Station will deploy a lady constable who would once in a day visit the residence of the petitioner and see that no harassment is inflicted at the behest of the respondent nos. 9 and 10 upon the present petitioner and submit a report before the Inspectorin-Charge, Ausgram Police Station after fifteen days.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 19599 of 2024 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
