His appearance may be regularized by the concerned authority.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 7th January, 2021 and till date only five witnesses have been examined and the examination of the witness no. 6 is in progress. Hence, he submits that the progress of the trial needs to be interfered with in view of the petitioner being in custody for more than thirty-two months. I have considered the submissions so advanced and I find that agony so expressed is justified.

Accordingly the learned Trial Court would ensure that a schedule is fixed for three days and such schedule is fixed once in

every month so that the trial of the case can be concluded within a reasonable period of time. The Trial Court is also directed to conduct the trial expeditiously without giving any unnecessary adjournments to any of the parties. If any witness do not appear on the scheduled date for evidence, the Trial Court will be at liberty to communicate with the concerned Superintendent of Police/ Commissioner of Police about the non-appearance of such witness so that required steps can be taken in the matter. Learned Public Prosecutor appearing in the matter in the learned Trial Court would also produce all relevant materials on each of the dates of the case before the Trail Court. With the above observations, CRR 3184 of 2022 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is also disposed of.
