The petitioner is aggrieved that further investigation on the charge sheet No.419/2021 dated 18th November, 2021 has not been conducted by the Garhbeta Police in terms of the order of the A.C.J.M, Garhbeta, Paschim Medinipur.

Learned counsel for the State has produced a report in the form of instructions dated 9th June, 2023 issued by the Officer-in-Charge, Garhbeta Police Station addressed to the learned State Advocate and the same is taken on record.

It appears that further investigation has been conducted and the supplementary charge sheet being Garhbeta Police Station Charge Sheet No.306/2023 dated 10th April, 2023 has been filed.

Let a copy of the supplementary charge sheet and the report of the Officer-in-Charge, Garhbeta Police Station dated 9th June, 2023 be made available to the counsel for the petitioner.

Garhbeta Police shall, however, ensure that the petitioner is not in any way disturbed or intimidated by the private respondents/accused persons.

Let a copy of this order be served upon the Superintendent of Police, Paschim Medinipur.

The Superintendent of Police, Paschim Medinipur shall ensure compliance of this order and the protection of the petitioner.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

8.

There shall be no order as to costs.

9.
