The contempt proceedings are dropped as it appears that the panchayat authorities have partly complied with the order of the court.

The report filed in court today be supplied to the parties which shall be treated as a report of inspection.

The competent authorities shall complete the hearing to be given to the parties and take necessary steps, in accordance with law.

The contentions of Mr. Alam with regard to the permission granted by the panchayat authorities, are not relevant for adjudication of the contempt application. All these points may be raised at the hearing before the panchayat authority.
