The report in the form of an affidavit filed by the learned advocate on behalf of the respondent no.4 in compliance with the order dated 6th September, 2024 passed by this Court be kept on record.

Paragraph 4 of the said report stated that a sum of Rs.18,21,236.00 towards gratuity and commutation of his pension as well as a sum of Rs.3,41,950.00 towards leave salary had been remitted to the bank account of the petitioner on 29th August, 2016.

The documents marked as Annexures R-2 and R-3 delineate the entitlement of the petitioner with regard to the aforesaid amount addressed to the respondent by the Bank dated 29th August, 2016.

It appeared from the records that neither the petitioner himself nor any learned advocate who represents the petitioner was present before the Court on 8th July, 2024, 9th July, 2024 and 6th September, 2024. Today also none appeared for the petitioner and no accommodation was sought for. It seems that the grievance of the petitioner has been meted out.

In view thereof, the instant writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
