Paul ...for the Principal Accountant General It has been submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner that during the pendency of this writ petition, the petitioner has been paid all his retiral dues including gratuity and provident fund. He, however, prays for interest for the delayed payment. Only when it can be demonstrated by the petitioner that the delay has been caused due to the negligence on the part of the respondents, the question of payment of interest will arise.

In that view of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of granting liberty upon the petitioner to file a fresh writ petition claiming interest for the delayed payment of retiral dues.

Accordingly, WPA 19142 of 2023 is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
