The petitioner has come up with this application for a direction upon the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, 7th Court, Barasat at 24-Parganas (North) to dispose of the suit being O.S. No. 70 of 2017 within a period of six months.

Heard learned advocate for the petitioner.

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that although the case is pending for about five years and the objections have already been filed by the parties, the issues have not yet been framed.

Upon hearing learned advocate for the petitioner and considering the nature of the case and the period of pendency, this court is of the view that the suit should be disposed of expeditiously.

Thus, the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, 7th Court, Barasat at 24-Parganas (North) is requested to frame the issues in O.S. No. 70 of 2017 within one week after vacation and is further

requested to dispose of the suit within six months thereafter.

This application stands disposed of.
