Despite notice and specific order dated February 14, 2022, PNB is not represented.

Since the order dated October 7, 2021 passed by the PNB is devoid of reasons, the same is set aside. The bank shall pass appropriate orders with appropriate reasons mandatorily and positively within a period of one month from date.

In the event of failure in this regard, it shall be presumed that the bank has no defence to the claim made by the petitioner.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
