The present revision has been preferred against an order dated 12.07.2019, passed by the learned Special Judge under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act at Krishnanagar, Naida. 2.

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner since the date of listing. The revision was last heard on 20.01.2021. 3.

Mr. Bitasok Banerjee, learned Counsel, who normally appears for the State, present in Court is appointed to represent the State in this case. Learned Public Prosecutor is requested to regularize his appointment.

It appears from the materials on record that the order under revision rejecting the petitioner's prayer for bail was passed by the learned court during the stage of investigation. It also appears that the trial in the present case has not commenced.

Accordingly, the revisional application being, prima facie, not maintainable, is disposed of with the direction upon the learned Special Court to proceed with the trial expeditiously in the present case, if not already disposed of.

Accordingly, the revisional application being CRR 2643 of 2019 is disposed of.

All applications connected thereto stand disposed of.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

Let a copy of the order be sent to the learned trial court for compliance.

10. Urgent Xerox certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties as expeditiously as possible, in compliance of usual formalities.
