The application being CAN 2 of 2016 (Old No. CAN 11364 of 2016) has been taken up for hearing. The learned advocate representing the respondent Nos. 2 and 3 submitted that the petitioner had been procrastinating the hearing of the instant writ petition and opposed the application for restoration.

Based on the averments made in paragraph Nos. 3 and 5 of the aforesaid CAN application and the explanation stated therein to be satisfactory and for ends of justice, the restoration application being CAN 2 of 2016 (Old No. CAN 11364 of 2016) stands allowed.

The instant writ petition stands restored to its original file and number. The order dated 02.11.2016 passed by a coordinate Bench of this Court is recalled.

In Re: CAN 1 of 2014 (Old No. CAN 3203/2014) The learned advocate for the petitioner has filed an application being CAN 1 of 2014 (Old No. CAN 3203/2014) inter alia praying for expeditious disposal of the instant writ petition and the same is allowed.

The learned advocate representing the petitioner submits that the pleadings have been completed and the writ petition is ready for hearing. Let the matter be fixed on 5th May, 2025.
