Vs.

The State of West Bengal and anr.

Nobody appears on behalf of either of the parties on call.

This case pertains to the year 2018.

The petitioners have filed this application under section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 seeking quashing of the proceeding of CS-112506 of 2016 under sections 25/27 of the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007 pending before the Court of the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 19th Court at Calcutta including the order dated 29.09.2016 and 20.03.2017 passed in connection with T.R. No. 1974 of 2017.

In spite of filing this application in the year 2018, nobody appears on behalf of either of the parties on call. Even on earlier occasion no one represented the petitioners, no accommodation sought for. It indicates that the petitioners are no more interested to proceed with the instant case.

Accordingly, CRR 2723 of 2018 is dismissed for default.
